Bedding Gift Ideas for Everyone on Your List: The 2026 Holiday Gift Guide

Bedding is one of the few gifts people use every single day. A new duvet cover changes how a whole room looks, and a soft blanket ends up on the couch every evening. It's also something most people rarely buy for themselves, which is exactly what makes it a good gift.

Below are our picks sorted by who you're shopping for, with a quick budget guide and a note on sizing at the end.

Order by December 7 for holiday delivery. Orders take 2 to 5 business days to process and 5 to 8 business days to arrive in the US and Canada, so we recommend ordering by December 7 to receive your gift before Christmas. Running late? A DORMÉ gift card is delivered instantly by email.

For the one who's always cold

The Marshmallow Ultra Plush Blanket is the gift for the person who keeps a blanket within reach from October to April. It's made from faux fur with a double-lined, sculpted texture that looks as soft as it feels, and it's light enough to use without overheating.

It comes in white, blush pink, black and brown, and in sizes from a small throw to king. A throw size works for the couch or a reading chair. The bed sizes are made to layer over a duvet for extra warmth on the coldest nights. It's machine washable, which matters more than it sounds for something that gets used this often.

For her

For the girl who loves pretty things, the Blue Florals Ruffled Duvet Cover Set pairs soft blue florals on an ivory base with a ruffle trim. It's sweet without being too much, and it makes a bedroom feel finished on its own.

If she prefers something without a print, the Rosalie Ruffle Duvet Cover Set has layered ruffle trim along the cover and shams. It has the same feminine feel with cleaner lines. Both are 100% cotton.

For someone who loves detail

The Dream Drape Ruched Duvet Cover Set is our most detailed design. Gathered ruching, lace trim and small embroidered florals on an ivory base give the bed texture without looking fussy. It's 100% cotton and the set includes a duvet cover, a flat sheet and two pillow shams, so it arrives as a complete look.

Give a complete bed and save 20%

A duvet cover on its own still needs something to go inside it, which makes a complete bed a thoughtful gift for a new home. With our Bundle & Save offer, you choose any duvet cover set, add the Organic Soybean Fiber Duvet Insert, and the insert is 20% off. The discount applies automatically at checkout when both are in your cart.

The insert is filled with soybean fiber and raw cotton, is OEKO-TEX certified and comes in three warmth levels, so you can choose one for a warm sleeper or someone who runs cold. It works with every set in this guide, so you can pick the style that suits the person and give them a bed that's ready to sleep in the day it arrives.

For someone who's hard to shop for

When you don't know their size, their style or their bedroom, a DORMÉ gift card lets them choose. Gift cards range from $50 to $200, are delivered instantly by email and never expire. It's also the best option after our December 7 order-by date.

How to get the size right

Size is the most common bedding gift mistake. Our duvet cover sets come in Double/Full, Queen and King, and the cover should match the size of the duvet insert they already own. If you can't find out quietly, a throw-size blanket or a gift card fits everyone. And if a size does turn out wrong, unused items can be returned within 30 days.

A gift that gets better with time

All of our duvet cover sets are made from 100% cotton that's pre-shrunk and gets softer with every wash, so the gift keeps improving long after the holidays. You can browse everything in one place in our bestsellers, and if you're giving a ruched set, our guide on how to wash ruched bedding makes a nice note to tuck in with it.
